Dongfang Hong — The East is Red
Chairman’s Cup is a wulong cha from Wudong Mountain in Guangdong Province. Oral tradition has it that Mao Zedong himself named the cultivar (“The East is Red”) after tasting a sample, though the truth is somewhat more complicated. The name is a reference to a revolutionary song still occasionally heard in China, a patriotic paean to the People’s Republic.

Dancong Wulong
Study the subtle and delicate flavors of Dancong, the celebrated Wulong (Oolong) tea from the Chaoshan region of Guangdong Province. Unlike other teas, usually named after their physical form or local lore, Dancongs are named after their fragrances.
Producers cultivate Dancongs to mimic the aromas of flowers and other botanicals. In addition to this fragrance, Dancong also comes in many other scents, such as Yu Lan Xiang, which translates to Magnolia, and Rou Gui Xiang, which translates as Cinnamon. You can find our aged Honey Orchid dancong here.
