What's In A Name?
Introducing "Creamy Duck Shit" - a flavorful Wulong (Oolong) with a surprising mouthfeel. Grown in Spring '22 at Wudong Mountain in Guangdong Province, this tea is made from the Ya Shi Xiang Dancong cultivar and harvested from trees that are at most 80 years old.
There are numerous origin stories for this variety of tea. Most commonly, we hear about a farmer from the past who wanted to deter their neighbors from stealing the new varietal they had cultivated. To lower the perceived value of this new crop, the farmer named it "Duck Shit Aroma." A legend was born.

Dancong Wu Long
Study the subtle aromas and delicate flavors of Dancong, the celebrated Wu Long tea from Guangdong Province. Unlike other teas named after their cultivars or physical form, Dancongs are named after their fragrances.
Producers cultivate Dancongs to mimic the aromas of flowers and other botanicals. In addition to the Duck Shit fragrance, Dancong also comes in 5 other scents, such as Yu Lan Xiang, which exudes the delicate fragrance of Magnolia, and Rou Gui Xiang, which releases the robust scent of Cinnamon. You can find our aged Honey Orchid Dancong here.
