Like an Old-Fashioned Soda Shop (But Less Sticky Counters)
A hybridized leaf that combines Assam and wild Mountain Tea, Hong Yu stands apart from virtually every other hong cha available. It's bold, unmistakable, and known for its deep, almost nostalgic, flavor.
People who enjoyed our previous Hong Yu, Sunbather Red, will recognize this as an old comrade. Sunbather's jammy, fruit-laden notes have mellowed into a woodsy sweetness peculiar to this batch. Think cola nut, wintergreen, and vanilla, wrapped in the smoothness of birch and sarsaparilla.
