What's In A Name?
The Daily Duck is one of the Wulong teas we brought back from a recent trip to Chaozhou (潮州), selected during our search for a charcoal-roasted Ya Shi Xiang that tastes incredible without breaking the bank. The name Ya Shi Xiang, an inside joke among local farmers, began as a way to discourage people from stealing it but only managed to increase its notoriety. Today, it’s one of the most popular teas from the Chaoshan region.
