Timeless Taste
Leatherbound is a hong cha whose leaves underwent natural drying with air and sun, a method of shaqing yielding a clean and concentrated brew. We named this batch after its umbrous color and evocative musk of sunbaked afternoons among book-lined wooden shelves.
Produced in Fengqing County, a region steeped in the long story of tea and situated in the heart of the Yunnan production region.
Dianhong
Dianhong is hong cha from Yunnan Province.
Dian - 滇 references the former Dian Kingdom that existed until roughly 109 BC. Hong - 紅 refers to the color of the brewed liquor and, by extension, the category of tea to which these leaves belong (Hong Cha).
